- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Tests showed a 90% hearing loss and I was using hearing aides and experiencing high levels of frustration for almost a year. Dr. Tomek did a procedure suctioning the left ear (much more intense than in years past when I had procedures with the myringotomy tubes bilaterally.) He then inserted a myringotomy tube and for almost two months there was drainage and first month bleeding. By the time I went back for my 6 month check up, I did not need a hearing device of any kind to help. He is knowledgeable, and yet he listens when he's giving you options, and supports you when you do not choose one he might have advised. In other words, "he works with you." Don't let the young appearance fool you. He has wisdom and experience and he "wants" to help his patients. As a retired nurse, I know a "keeper" when I see one.August 16, 2017by Joyce Godwin Grubbs
